Slow Down. Settle In. Listen.
SOUND BATHS IN ST. LOUIS
Sacred Practice Sound Bath Journeys offer a simple way to step out of the noise and into a slower, more intentional experience.
Using traditional singing bowls and other sound instruments, Allison guides you through an extended group sound meditation designed to give you space to rest, reset, and reconnect.
Come alone. Bring a friend. Stay curious.
A DIFFERENT WAY TO UNWIND
Sometimes You Just Need an Hour to Reset
For many people, the hardest part of slowing down is actually creating the space to do it. Our Sound Bath Journey gives you a reason to stop.
No phone.
No conversation to keep up with.
No list of things you should be accomplishing.
Just time to settle into the experience and let the sound take up some of the space your brain usually fills with everything else.
Some people come because they already have a meditation or mindfulness practice. Others come because a friend talked them into it. All are welcome.

What Even is a Sound Bath?
A sound bath is a group meditation experience built around sound rather than movement or conversation. You simply lie down on a provided mat, get comfortable, settle in, and listen while singing bowls and other instruments create layers of tone and vibration throughout the room.
You can book a Sound Bath in St. Louis at our Sacred Practice Reiki Studio. Our Sound Bath Journeys are designed to feel approachable and grounded, whether this is your first time or something you already make part of your routine.
1
ARRIVE + GET COMFORTABLE
First, make sure you've RSVP'd and purchased your ticket to our Group Sound Bath events HERE.
Next, you'll find convenient parking in our parking lot or on the street near the studio. Come in, find your space, and settle in. We recommend arriving 10 minutes prior to the start to get settled in.
You may want to bring anything that helps you feel comfortable while resting. We will provide you with mats and blankets; however, please bring a pillow and an eye mask.
2
LET THE SOUND DO THE WORK
Allison guides the room through an extended sound experience using traditional singing bowls and other instruments. We use traditional sound instruments and hand-hammered singing bowls to create an intentional experience. You do not need to “do” anything correctly. Your only job is to listen and experience it.
3
TAKE YOUR TIME
When the session ends, give yourself a moment before rushing straight back into the rest of your evening.
Some people leave feeling deeply relaxed. Others simply appreciate having had an hour where they were not expected to be productive.
Both are valid.

Community Focused
Come Alone or Bring Someone With You.
Unlike a private Reiki session, a Sound Bath Journey is a shared experience.
It is one of the easiest ways to introduce a friend to Sacred Practice or try something new together without feeling like you are signing up for a huge commitment.
